"Supporting women in the Elmwood community"
The Refuge is a collection of programs run by Riverwood Church that respond to the needs of women in the Elmwood Community. It is mentor-based program that provides both open and closed support groups based on different circumstances and needs. We offer general support to moms, and specific group supports to women who have experienced trauma and violence.
Mom's Support Group
We understand the unique difficulties young moms face and are here to provide support, love and encouragement in a non-judgmental environment. We care about you and your child. There are mentors at each group who you can talk to about anything and who are there to help you along your journey.
Meets every Tuesday
